Duna Fabric:
is a type of yarn manufactured by the Círculo brand, widely used in crochet and knitting work. It is known for its firm texture, soft touch and excellent definition in the stitches. Ideal for making clothes, accessories and decorative pieces.
✅ Characteristics of the Duna Fabric (or yarn):
Composition: 100% mercerized cotton.
Texture: Firm, with a soft shine.
Thickness: Medium, thicker than Anne yarn and thinner than Barroco yarn.
Needle recommendation:
Crochet: 2.5mm to 3.5mm.
Knitting: 3mm to 4.5mm.
Applications: Blouses, skirts, bikinis, bags, placemats, small rugs and decorative pieces.
✅ How to Care for Duna Fabric/Yarn:
✔️ Washing:
Wash by hand with mild soap.
Do not use bleach or harsh products.
If using a machine, choose the cycle for delicate clothes, with the piece inside a protective bag.
✔️ Drying:
Dry in the shade, avoiding direct exposure to the sun to preserve the heart and fiber.
Never use a dryer — you can shrink or deform a piece.
✔️ Ironing:
If necessary, iron with a warm iron, always protecting the piece with a cloth.

Store the pieces folded, in a dry and airy place.
Avoid hanging heavy pieces, so that they do not deform.

Since Duna yarn is made from mercerized cotton, it has superior shine and resistance, but still requires care with excessive friction.
Pieces made with Duna are very resistant, but always keep them clean and dry to avoid mold.
